Our client is a data centre and managed service provider in the financial services sector. It has recognised that cloud SaaS offerings are increasingly penetrating the market and large technology providers are offering industrialised services (IaaS and PaaS) which increasingly compete with its own offering. The client therefore expects a decline in demand for its existing services.

To compensate the erosion of its current business model, the client decided to transform into a provider offering its customers managed cloud services. The management board commissioned Sourcing International to drive the change in the organisation and assure buy-in on the part of the employee population in order to expedite the desired transformation.

Sourcing International successfully (1) implemented cloud management practices within the organisation, (2) established specific cloud management activities for selected cloud use cases, (3) created guidelines for the future development of the organisation, including a mid-term development plan for capabilities and resources to be built, and (4) engaged the wider organisation to facilitate the transformation journey.

Through this project, Sourcing International has significantly supported the customer's transformation and contributed to their long-term success.
