FOUNDATION
Sourcing International was founded in 2017 by Oliver Lindlbauer and Tobias Höllwarth with the aim of overcoming entrenched patterns of thinking and developing better, faster, and more effective solutions to the great digitalisation challenges of our time.

Our story

2017
Oliver Lindlbauer and Tobias Höllwarth found the company. They name it Sourcing International (SI) and lay the groundwork for a successful company history.

2018
Consultancy for an international automotive company on GDPR implementation. Development of first SaaS solution employed by a gas pipeline company and others.

2019
Public procurement projects for Austrian ministries. First cloud compliance project for a large hospital. Management of an E-commerce platform for an international beauty business.

2020
Shaping the cloud strategy, compliance, and governance for major organisations: Railways, City of Vienna, Federal Chancellery, banks and insurance companies.

2021
Management of INPLP, a global law firm network in 40+ countries. First SI Camp, a week-long team-building and strategy retreat. The team now includes ten nationalities.

2022
Established the SI Garden, a virtual garden of organic fruit farms. Managed the implementation of Austria's digital driving license. First Cloud Circle of Excellence event.

2023
SI achieves its first ISO 9001 certification. Created “Consento”, a digital consent form tool for the healthcare sector. Opened a new headquarter office in Vienna’s city centre.

2024
Successfully executed an ELAK project, surveying 15,000 federal users. Developed the AI-Compliance prototype for the Austrian social security sector and the Federal Chancellery.
